[Art Review] - Etsy: KiviDecor

Just had to write a review on this magnificent Etsy vendor of fine art.  It was my first time purchasing anything like this as I've never been responsible for home decorating before, so I was already apprehensive about dropping a lot of money on something that could get lost, broken or damaged in the mail from an overseas vendor.  And what if it didn't look like it does in the pictures?  What if the dimensions are off?  So many things could go wrong ordering art online.  I tracked the package all the way from Turkey to my little apartment, waiting with bated breath for the beautiful and avant-garde masterpiece I'd soon put on my wall.

So imagine my disappointment when the piece finally arrived... and it wasn't the one I ordered!  No way could I afford (or physically manage) to ship it back overseas, so it looked like I'd just flushed $106 down the toilet.  Even though it was the vendor's fault, it's a pretty big ask to get them to send another FREE piece of artwork while letting me keep this one.  But that's exactly what Kivi Decor did, and in very short order.  The day after I let him know what happened, he sent my tracking number for the replacement and was very friendly about the whole ordeal to boot, calling the first painting "a gift to me".  💛

After looking at the first painting for a few days, I actually came to like it and am going to put it up in my bedroom as I still have a ton of blank wall space.  My Basquiat finally arrived via FedEx in pristine condition about a week later.  Here's it is:
