...for moving all their old SNL episodes to its paywalled "Premium" service. Thankfully there are other ways of accessing the episodes in their full, unedited forms as they aired originally if you know how to work the internet (for now), but what a dick move. So now you're gonna take our money & not even pay the licensing fees for the musical performances & all the other content you've cut from your own shows? A typical SNL episode is around 1 hour 4 minutes. Most episodes on Peacock don't exceed 45 minutes, with some like the Season 6 Bill Murray episode clocking in a pathetic 22 minutes. Greedy shits.
Getting real tired of these corporations making us pay separate fees for shitty chopped up content on 50 different web portals. Between Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Apple TV, HBOMax, Sling TV, fubo tv, Showtime Anytime & all the rest, it's a goddamn racket. At least with cable & satellite it was one price for the whole shebang all in one place. The future of online content looks dim with this landgrab mentality and the state of DMCA takedowns.
