...Google stopped putting drug rehab centers at the top of their search results instead of science-based resources like Pubmed, university websites like Harvard & Stanford or even general medical info sites like Medline Plus & WebMD. You can't search for anything drug-related without the first 4 or 5 pages of results being flooded with rehab centers, which makes it impossible to get unbiased answers on things like opiate withdrawal, urinalysis or related topics. Google's search results have been going downhill for years now but this topic in particular is a dangerous one to tamper with since lives depend on accurate answers and not anti-drug propaganda.

At the same time, I've noticed my own blog's hits tanking recently for no apparent reason which leads me to believe Google has had a hand in burying it in the search results. No biggie. Not like I was making money off it or anything, but it's frustrating that they have such a monopoly on the internet and information access. At this rate it won't be long before the U.S. is behind a firewall of information like China. Don't say you weren't warned.
